Beautiful hotel and spa in a great location; rooms are very clean and spacious and dog-friendly 10 minutes walk into town. Nice bar and restaurant. Only issues: I feel £30 a night for your dog is a bit high, compared to other hotels.

Had a fantastic stay at the wild pheasant. Staff are lovely. Room was for 3 but only set up for 2, the staff couldnt be any quicker having the room amended for the 3 of us. Afternoon tea was gorgeous , spa immaculate and not overcrowded. Enjoyed a shoulder and back massage to finish the trip. It was perfect. Also very close to the centre nice 15 minute walk along the river
