"This hotel is a gem! It's in a lovely location and the staff are fantastic - so helpful and friendly. They were also great with our dog. The on site restaurant has a varied menu and the food is excellent. The rooms themselves are also comfortable and there is plenty of parking on site. We had a fab stay and would love to return."

"Nice clean family room, exactly as the pictures showed, perfectly functional room. Nice breakfast, served until 10 , which is nice if you’re a bit lazy in the morning! Great location, bang in the middle of town , 10 mins walk to the castle, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. The bar prices were quite steep (£7.35 a pint!!) but the cocktails were reasonably priced. "We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. Our evening meal was acceptable as traditional pub grub and the service/staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was FAB, we had a full English and couldn't fault. "The room was clean & tidy although some of the furniture had marks on them view from window was stunning breakfast on first day was ok the beans were just warm bacon could have been cooked more second day was better had a muffin with scrambled egg which was a little runny for my liking but it was hot breakfast room does get busy as it's quite small where you help yourself to cereals etc staff are very polite and helpful "

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "
