"A short visit to stay and explore neighbouring Chester the next day, with a baby. Lovely snug place, only found little tidbits that could be massively improved, for instance shower pressure being low, distinct lack of a toulrt roll holder, nearly empty shower gel.... Breakfast wise fee options and freshly brewed teas and coffees which was most welcome, though obe notes plenty of food choices in neighbouribg services. Overall an ok stay but surely fibe for the price paid. "

" Staff at the Woodcote are very friendly and welcoming, and I was given a top floor room in accordance with a special request. My room had a slight attic feel, was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom was massive..it had an electric shower in a cubicle and the floor was wood block. There was a lot of spare space and inadequate lighting.The hotel is in a rather remote location and finding a retail outlet / restaurant nearby is challenging. "Stayed 1 night at the Moxy Chester, having previously stayed at the Moxy in Manchester. Did not disappoint. Set on the canal, easy to reach the centre. Staff were wonderful, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely stay again."

"Booked this hotel for my friends and I purely for a place to sleep after a day out so the price we paid (£120 total) was very reasonable for Chester. My party comprised 4 adults and we were allocated a 2 bedroom apartment at the hotel's annex. The apartment was more than suitable for our needs but would be a great place to use for a multi-night stay. There was even a car park spot at the annex which we didn't use. "

"I treated my husband to a night at the Chester Grosvenor for his birthday, and what a special night it was. Check in was smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised to be told continental breakfast was included in my rate (I had forgotten), or you can upgrade to a full cooked for around £12pp. The room was large, with a huge bed and a nice large clean bathroom. Our meal in La Brasserie was just delightful, my husband is still raving about the pig cheeks starter, the venison main he had, and the artisan cheeses to finish off with. Our first time to have a bottle of Lebanese wine too! All very nice. We finished off with a night cap at the bar. The hotel was decked out all Christmassy as our stay was end of November and it looked so pretty. All the staff are so friendly and like to have a joke with you. We will definitely be back here. "

Beautiful stay

"Staff at reception, restaurant and also breakfast were all amazing. Housekeeping also came to make a bed up after a room change and was lovely and friendly. Whole place was immaculate. Spa was busier than we would’ve liked so struggled for a sunlounger, room was too warm too."
