"Great hotel. Multi-lingual, friendly staff. Close to train station. Washing machine/dryer inside each room."

"Overall stay was amazing. Service was friendly and attentive to detail. Wonderful welcome and check in with special drink and snack. Room was specious and modern. Bathroom has a lot of space. Only one downside is the laundry machines as they are combo washer and dryer which require each machine to take up to 2 hours to finish creating a long line. I waited standing for one hour for the machine. Because of the combo, the dryer is not strong, the clothes were still wet after 1 hour of drying "

"This was the perfect spot for accessibility to public transportation for traveling Kyoto, was relatively central to all the destinations in Kyoto we had in mind. Was near convenient stores and local restaurants that were the hidden gems on our trip. Room was enough space to stay comfortably for about a week and the spa/ bath house was a part we didnt expect to use but ended up loving and using every day. Most staff speaks great English and are very friendly and helpful with area recommendations. After needing to change hotels and book here last minute, this place made our visit to Kyoto much better then how it started. Would definitely book again"

Bear in mind though that the hotel doesn’t have onsite laundry facilities or a gym and the absence of a bar / area to hang out in is a bit of a missed opportunity but there are plenty of bars and independent gyms nearby "
