"The location was great, easy 5 min walk to subway and bus. Only 15 mins to market and shopping. The room was comfortable and a good size for Japanese standards. It is nice to have a kitchenette and there was free water. We only received 1 towel each and had to ask for extra towels which was not a problem. I asked for an extra pillow and they did not have any, that is a first and very unfortunate since it made my sleeping less comfortable."

"As a family of 5, our overall stay at Mimaru Kyoto was great. The location was walkable to many areas we wanted to look at during our stay which was convenient and close to bus stops for the sightseeing that was a little further away. The combined washer/dryer in the room was a godsend, I would put it on most nights when we went to bed and wake up to clean dry clothes. "This place was a great find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They received our luggage and had it waiting in our room for us when we arrived. This was more like an apartment, so we had 2 bedrooms, with 2 large beds in each room, that could be shut off from the main area. There was a living room, full kitchen, and dining area.
