"Very spacious room. Hotel is clean and well kept. BONUS, you have a view of Mt. Fuji from your Balcony. The shops around the area are pricy but a 5 min walk will get you to the more affordable shops. Its close to the train station, I suggest using the overpass as it connects to everything. Tachikawa is underrated location, Its location is central to Tokyo and Day trip areas. "

"My only requirement was to have a hotel close to Tachikawa station, and you can’t get much closer than this one. The room was comfortable and clean and it was a great deal. Will definitely stay here again!"

"There are two door stickers, “clean the room” and “no need clean today” but no “do not disturb”. There is no “wired ethernet” connection."

"We liked that the hotel was modern and the staff very friendly and very convenient. What we didn’t like was the room size it was a lot smaller than anticipated. Comaparing sizes on the internet it was saying it was similar to another hotel we had stayed at and that may be true but the extra space was in the bathroom where you don’t need it. We found there was no space to put your bags. Ok for a one night stay but no longer."

"This is not a normal hotel. It is a small apartment with cooking hot plate, microwave, washing machine/dryer. Typical Japanesebth and shower, in room airconditioner. About a 10 minute walk to Kokubunji Train Station. All directions in room are in Japanese. So you will need a translation app. Also office staff has very limited English and they use a translation app too. You will get a feel for living in Japan with a small grocery store about a 3 minute walk. Enjoy."

"Area is a little ducked off from the night life in Tachikawa which can be perfect or slightly inconvenient depending on your desires. If you want to get drunk and have a night to remember*, maybe it's a bit of a walk for a drunk person. If you want easy access to the night life but peace and quiet, away from the trouble, it is the exact right distance for you. If you're on foot and using the train system, be prepared for a little walking. Its not too bad if you like walking medium distances....
