"This is a fantastic small hotel in an excellent location next to a large park as well as excellent shopping and eateries. Although we'd recommend eating in the hotel - some of the best food we've had for a long time. There is attention to detail everywhere - cleanliness, friendliness and all the extras you'd need in the room including a coffee machine."

"We stayed for one night as we had a concert in Sheffield city centre. The hotel and room itself were very clean and the room had everything we needed - including bath robes which we weren’t expecting! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great - we both had eggs Benedict and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We arrived around 6pm on a Saturday night. The bar was rammed, and noisy, and we had reservations about whether to stay or not. But then the manager took us up to our room, and there was no way we were going anywhere! We had booked the suite, which has a lounge area plus bedroom area, a bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower, and even a dressing room. "This was a quaint little cottage nestled a stones throw from chatsworth with incredible walks in the doorstep and a local beautiful pub mere metres to the side. The hosts were brilliant, the property was immaculate I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Really grateful for the time I spent there and just brilliant "

"Good hotel but over-priced. Comfortable room, good atmosphere in bar and restaurant, friendly young staff. Wifi didn't work in bedroom, despite being reset by staff. Breakfast was awful - 50 minutes wait for any food (no buffet) and then arrived cold."

"This was our first visit to Fischer's Baslow Hall and we are already planning a return visit in 2025. We experienced warm, friendly and efficient service from the moment of our arrival and throughout our stay. The attention to detail was impressive. The superb 6 course gourmet dinner accompanied by excellent wines was an amazing highlight of our stay. We were very comfortably accommodated in a Garden Room. Loved the superking-size bed."
