"We stayed the night before our long haul flight and it was a fabulous start to our holiday. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. We had a meal in the bar area and the waiter couldn’t have been more accommodating. Very convenient for checking in for our flight from the north terminal the following morning and we will definitely recommend to friends and come back ourselves. "

"The owner and staff were so very friendly and accommodating to us! We arrived with the plan of going into the city and John offered to take our luggage to the inn for us so we could catch a train rather than pay for his shuttle to take us to the inn only to bring us back to catch the train at the airport station. The room was small but lovely, clean an d the bed was comfy! I loved that the place was so close to gatwick airport. I also liked that there were usb ports in the room so we didn’t have to worry about universal plug adapters. There was a fan in our room as it was especially warm the evening we stayed. The full and continental breakfasts were scrumptious and the backyard terrace was quaint. Things do shut down however after 10 ish and there aren’t any stores nearby so you would need to plan ahead if you wanted something to snack on in the common room in the evening. Having said that, the common room had a fridge with access to glasses and water. There is also a lovely footpath only a few minutes away from the inn that I would have explored further had I known it was there. All in all, it was a very warm hospitable experience staying at this inn! Thank you John and Leda and I can’t recall the name of the young lady who shuttled us back to the airport but thank you too! "
