A very good option for early flights from Gatwick airport. Just a few minutes walk to departure lounge. The food is very good, 4am breakfast is a very considerate service! The only two shortcomings bases on my experience are: the hand washing sink is a bit clogged as the water in the sink goes away very slowly. Also the ventilation in the bathroom is a bit too loud and cannot be turned off. Overall a very good choice for airport overnight stay.

Being able to walk directly to and from the North Terminal at Gatwick airport without having to go outdoors was wonderful. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we arrived early. Our room was clean and quiet and breakfast was great.

Reception Desk never answered their phone so 4 times I had to go down the elevator to their desk to ask them to put the heat on as my room and entire 2nd floor was freezing. Also asked for a spread as the bed was hard and cold I received a duvet and slept under the covers all night, freezing! I'm home now, went to Urgent Care as I am sick which I attribute to the hotel being freezing on my floor and in my room! The shower never had hot water only the sinks in the bathroom so I had a "sponge bath". Also asked twice for a washcloth and was brought bath and hand towels which I did not need or want. Not what I expected..............

The room I was given had no functional heating, and was as cold as the outside air temperature (close to 0 degrees in January). When I requested another room (close to midnight as I had checked in at 11pm and waited almost an hour for the heating to warm up, which it never did), I was told by staff there were no other rooms available. As this room was not in working condition, the hotel should not have allowed for this room to be booked. I can’t believe Hampton by Hilton would allow any guest to stay in a room that did not have working heating in the middle of winter. I was forced to walk through Gatwick airport and arrange alternative accommodation on my own after midnight when I had an early flight in the morning. Absolutely unacceptable from Hampton by Hilton.

Only seemed to be a pizza available as a vegetarian meal in the evening which was a little disappointing. Otherwise very convenient hotel for the airport. Buffet breakfast not bad, as you would expect but plenty of vegetarian options including various non dairy milks which was a bonus.

Hampton is conveniently located, with its own connection to Gatwick Airport’s check-in counters. Breakfast was brilliant too with enough options. Staffs are accommodating and responsive. However, at night, it’s easy to hear footsteps from the above room from our room although thankfully it did not last whole evening and we had a restful quiet sleep.
