"Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. "Really nice location, plenty of parking available. Nice pub and accommodation. Staff are very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was good quality, service was very good. Breakfast was very good. Room was good. The only slight negative, and I hate to add that it seems to be common with all hotels, is that the cups were very small for tea / coffee. I'm sure if we'd asked they would have had some decent sized mugs? Overall, you can't go wrong, clean, beautiful...
