"Very nice and comfortable family spot. No restaurant on site which was too bad and for three nights, no housekeeping. There were tennis and pickle ball courts which was fun for the kids. Lots of folks walking and several small swimming pools. The unit was outdated and generally clean but could use a deep clean and some updates. "The master bedroom was large with its own balcony. The other spaces were nice and overall the layout worked for our family of 6. Having a full kitchen and laundry facilities was great. On the downside, we had an "ocean view" room but the ocean was quite far away and the view was limited. At night the lighting was insufficient. "

Heidi and Dan don’t just keep the rooms and premises immaculate, enjoyable and comfortable- they provide delicious breakfasts and great recommendations to places of all types in the island. Mango sunset has a beautiful view of the ocean while enjoying your breakfast, reading a book, or playing a Hawaiian guitar (a guitar was in our room)! We will definitely go back! "

"This place is a real gem! Private deck overlooking the sea where whales are jumping, the waves crash into the pool and the landscaping is breathtaking. the pool is warm the closet hid a bed and there were tvs in the master bedroom and the living/dining room area. the dishwasher was dirty inside and some of the plates were not cleaned well but the views and quiet and ease of access to downtown and sight seeing was worth a few seconds of dish scrubbing. What a pleasure to stay in such a nice place...

"Nice little place in very good location. 50 yard walk to water front Alii Street full of good restaurants. Very popular place. Would have been nice to have a table to eat at. I always found a place to park but parking is difficult. It is what it is. There was a $270+ fee added to my charge that I was not made aware of at time of booking. Otherwise it was a pretty inexpensive place to stay in an expensive destination"

"This was an amazing tropical paradise! Tropical open air rooms with fabulous decor and healing mediative areas to enjoy the tranquility in Captain Cook. Less than 2 miles from the popular snorkeling spot "Two Step" and the historical monument known as "Place of Refuge". The breakfast was excellent with multiple fruits, breads, oatmeal, nut butters, chia and yogurt, and huge selection of local jams. Staff was helpful - especially Ausin who showed us the fruit trees all over the grounds including the labyrinth and yoga area. we will definitely be staying again; we stayed in the writers Studio- truly offered all the comforts of home. "
