"While the condo was in an ideal location in Kona, the amenities at the property were less than what I expected. The shower and bathroom sink were filthy. There were several hairs in the shower the day we arrived and what looked like toothpaste in the bathroom sink. The bathroom mirror was also dirty, with water spots all over it. The condo needs a good overall cleaning, as there was dust and dirt all over the walls, fans, decorations, etc. It is also a little outdated. The TV should be updated...

"Excellent location, location, location. On the point, beautiful sunsets from the room or bar/pool. Near shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and responsive, availability of services good. This resort is older, noticeable in the rooms; loose plumbing, noisy ventilation, a heavy, sticky sliding door to the lanai. However, the bed was very comfortable, linens and towels fresh and clean. "I wasn't sure what to expect, but I shouldn't have been worried at all. Super cute boutique hotel with EXCELLENT amenities/landscaping. My room was decorated with vintage Tiki prints and linens. Everything was sparkling clean with attention to travelers needs - local insights, pool towels, beach equipment, ice for coolers and more. Harris gave me a quick tour of the property and as a solo, older woman traveler, I felt at home. The pool was so refreshing. Parking was tight, but not an issue....
