"Kona Outrigger was a fantastic hotel. From check-in (shout out to Michael for setting everything up) to check out, the hotel delivered. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. You could tell that the hotel wasn't new, but it was keep very well and the grounds were beautiful. There were 2 pools, one for families and one for adults. "We stayed here our last night on island before flying home. As such, we didn’t take advantage of room service, or the pool, but were treated very well and found our room to be comfortable and clean. No complaints, and the lobby coffee was legitimately good."

"Big — my wife enjoyed going around the resort and seeing the art, history, and Hawaiian feel. Due to it being winter, only minimum facilities open, but enough to enjoy. Better to go off-site to eat due to cost."

"Hawaii is expensive enough without having to gouge clients $35 a day to park, really felt that was a slap in the face. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and the pool is nice. Nice central location for the town itself. Area is VERY NOISY in the early am if you are in the east tower. Lots of delivery trucks backing up etc."

"We have stayed in many places around Hawaii, and this location quickly rose to the top spot. The views are specatcular, the rooms spacious and service is top notch all around. Loved the prearranged airport transportation and the ability to rent a Tesla for the day....right from the resort. "

"Hali’i Kai a quiet resort tucked into the Waikolo area. Its townhomes stretch from oceanfront, back to golf views. Watch for whales from its beautiful, family-friendly pool. Food and drink options, as well as a small gym are also located there. Our units furnishings were somewhat dated, but clean and comfortable. A beach cooler, sand toys, and boogie boards were available for our use. If you’re looking for a smaller, more private resort, I’d definitely recommend Hali’i Kai"
