"Rooms felt spacious and were clean. Common areas too. We were able to find chairs at beach and the (multiple) pools. We did a sunset horseback riding tour (amazing), but other than that were entertained for our 3 full days and 4 nights at the resort. A small shopping lane with souvenir shops is available. The staff really was the highlight. Gracious, friendly, and very interested in making our stay great. They were always present when you needed something (not used to that in the US). Drinks...

"Our butler Jean Claude was wonderful. Honestly everyone on staff was wonderful and I wish I could remember names but it really was every staff member we encountered. They were always friendly and welcoming. The extra care in decorating the room for my birthday was just another happy memory I have from our stay here. I’m so grateful for all of them. My only complaints about the resort is some minor areas where I noticed things needed repair and there were some bad smells coming from the bathroom...

"We loved the property! The beach is perfect and had kayaks, paddle boards, a bar and plenty of beach places to get shade or sun. The front desk staff was lovely and accommodating. Our mattress was firmer then what we are used to and the staff helped by giving us a blanket topper which was nice. The cleaning staff was wonderful and came every day. The food was good too and we especially loved the upgraded dinner. Every restaurant was beautiful. I would stay again! "

"This was my first time in Jamaica and Bahia Principe did not disappoint. It was a beautiful property. There were some renovations going on while we were there, (the hotel is 17 years old and it looked like they were updating some things) however we noticed that they were very respectful of quiet hours and we experienced no issues. "I think the property was soooo beautiful; my boyfriend and I went and it was really romantic. I/ just that the food in the buffet wasn’t hot and some of the room service food was also cold. However, I was sooo impressed with my suite at the Excellence Club!!!!! Also, the bartender Ronny at the Excellence Club Bar; ask for him. "
