All large beach resorts should live up to the standard of Princess Grand. It was simply amazing and the food at the buffet and restaurants were so delicious and endless FRESH options

It’s clear that they have just opened and not crossed all their T’s but it was a good stay. 1.Walk with a water shoes as the sand is kinda rocky for me 2. Lot of dinner options and the food was good 3. Nice buffet options 4. The property is huge so you might have some walking to do to get to places depending on where your room is. I was in the fourth floor west wing so it was a walk to get to the buffet but I didn’t mind 5. If you’re party people this hotel might not be the ideal option but for relaxing, not too loud this would be perfect

they are or were a new hotel at the time and it was there pre grand opening, it has a lot of potential. we were understanding that they just open and still had some kinks to work out, had an issue with one of the cleaning staff that came in our room even though she knew that we didnt want anyone coming in when we werent in the room, luckily my wife decided to sleep in a little longer one day while my duaghter and I were at breakfast and to the cleaning ladys surprise my wife was still in bed when she tried to come in our room for no reason. Tyrese and the entertainment staff where the best they made the trip better.

My husband and i had a good time. The workers where welcoming. Only thing the restaurant Jamrock there food was very salty. Oh also, the MVP sports bar should play reggae music and not rock.

Went for a quick gateway my room has the swim up pool where I could see the sunset I also had two butlers Questos and Julian who were very helpful and awesome. The sports bar has awesome chicken wings and the Jamrock was ok, the food came out luke warm but I figured maybe because we went to dinner late. Other than that all the resturants food trucks, and pools are nice. The entry into the hotel is stunning and you really know your in paradise as soon as you walk in!!! Looking forward to planning my next trip in the future. From MBJ airport this is an hour drive but it is totally worth it

Resort needs some improvements, such as music around the property, entertainment, butler training. Food was just average. Overall, it needs work to be called a 4 star resort. At this point it is just a 3.5. Good night shows, decent beach, pretty clean.

I don't normally leave reviews for places I stayed, but I had to leave a review for this resort! Princess Grand Jamaica was fabulous. The staff, the rooms, the activities, the atmosphere was EXCELLENT. Our family decided to go to Jamaica over Christmas this year and we stayed at the Princess Grand Jamaica All inclusive resort and had the BEST time. My favorite thing was the staff and the food! The people at this resort go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. We were there for a full week and I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. A recommendation would be to incorporate more local Jamaican culture, food, especially fresh fruits, and vibe...did not feel at all like I was in Jamaica which was disappointing. Add more art from local artists and more reggae music...i did not travel to Jamaica for American food and music.

We loved so much about the week we spent there over Christmas. The staff is really friendly and helpful (loved Conny out at the pool!) The property is amazing and great for the kids. I have 9 and 12 year old boys and they had a blast at the water park and were in absolute heaven in the gaming room. One draw back is some of the gaming equipment wasn't operational yet so they were a little bummed to see amazing VR set ups that didn't work. I would recommend bringing lots of dollar bills for tipping as there were days in a row where neither the front desk nor gift shop could give you any change--the ATM doesn't dispense anything smaller than a $20. Also, remember goggles or you will have to shell out $24 per pair in the gift shop! The week we were there was still a little slow and some food at the buffet often looked amazing but had been sitting for so long it would be inedible but by Christmas it was a ton busier and the lobster at the buffet was a very nice touch! If you are an early to bed type of person try not to get a room overlooking the water park/theatre area. The music is loud and often goes well past 10PM, however the entertainment was really well done. My kids were often too tired to stay up past 9 so it bothered them. The water quality at the main beach fluctuates depending on the wind/weather. There were a few days it was really clear but was a bit murky the rest of the days and I really don't like how they keep you contained within the area marked by the buoys.

We stayed in December on the family side in Platinum in a swimup suite. Our room was amazing, though the pool didn’t get tons of sun but I imagine it gorgeous in the summer months. Still used the swimup and hot tub! Our butlers Shayshay and Javaughn were AMAZING. I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. From having fun with our 5 year old to being super responsive and helpful to just being down to earth, real humans. Made our trip fantastic. Princess is lucky to have them. The resort is gorgeous. Everything is new and some kinks are still being ironed out but nothing that impacted our stay or experience. The gym was also wonderful, as were the trainers run the fitness classes. So much to do and not enough time. The bartenders and wait staff in ALL of the restaurants are amazing. FIND BARTENDER MORRIS.. you won’t be disappointed. We used Jamaica Action Routes for excursions and airport transfers. They were wonderful! The beach is the only thing that is slightly a let down but it’s manmade and brand new so I imagine in time, it’ll feel more natural. But it is still nice, a little small but loungers are a plenty!! The water sports are great but it was VERY windy and rough in December (no fault of the resort). The pools and waterpark were our go to place to hangout. Plenty of seats and cabanas available. The kids club was great! Some of the VR wasn’t working yet but we didn’t care about that anyway. Would rate Princess Grand a 10/10 and would definitely return!
