"Where to begin!? Schwarzsee Hotel is amazing for skiers who travel across the continents with the mentality to enjoy the outdoors. This hotel is very convenient as it is a ski-in-and-out hotel. With the most amazing views of the Matterhorn and part of the Swiss Alps just out your window. The gondola is one minute walk and to embark further up in the mountains and all the way to Cervinia ski resort which lands in Italy!! The staff at the hotel are polite and helpful, the food is beyond delicious....

"Overall fantastic - views are second to none. The hiking around the area is unreal and it’s great to be there before the first train and tourists descend. Dinner was amazing and servers were extremely attentive. Only feedback is that for the price they could have proper coffee machines in the room! Small thing but in other cheaper hotels there were real coffee machines whereas this was cheap sachets… with nothing else around it would be nice to have a proper coffee. Everything else was amazing...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the adonis Hotel. We were upgraded to what we thought was the best room in the hotel as it had a balcony and a view of the Matterhorn. You need to be in good health though as there are no cars allowed and the streets are quite hilly. But the cable car access to the mountains was quite close and made for an amazing and unforgettable experience.the breakfast was quite plain but sufficient and the staff were extremely helpful."

"Hotel Firefly was one of the most perfect hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in, truly! Upon arrival the front desk walked us around the property showing us the complimentary spa area which we used each day to warm up in the evenings. "What an amazing vacation. Hotel Antika is snuggled away in a convenient location in Zermatt. Just off the Main Street but still centrally located to restaurants and bars. The hotel has a ski entrance and storage area for all your equipment and the bus to Matterhorn Mountain Glacier is right outside the rear entrance. Picture perfect views of the Matterhorn and a little bar for an apres ski drink. Would highly recommend and would stay there again. "

"The Basecamp is great. You can walk to the ski bus in about 10 minutes. We stayed 3 nights and they picked us up from the train and took us back via their shuttle which made coming and going easy. The room was extremely dry and very warm. The beds were okay. We were 4 adults in a four person room. The top bunks are very hard to get in and out of and the ladder a little tough. Would be great for small children but difficult for adults. The staff was really nice, especially the lady who checked us...
