"We had a lovely stay, the room was nice and clean and comfortable. However we were told by reception on arrival that we could use the spa facilities the following day, which we were looking forward to, we were then told we couldn’t use the facilities after 11am at checkout. This was extremely disappointing given that we booked the hotel for the reason of the spa facilities."

Just think? you are staying in a 1500's character established Home that is now a Hotel it made my daughter and I feel so special, the staff are kind and accommodating and the Breakfast is amazingly delicious and plentiful. "The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the train station which is very handy for those who don't want to stay in Manchester city centre. It's lovely and quiet. Our room was very warm even with heating off and the fan on, I think the pool could've been a little warmer and to provide cups for the fresh water fountain. We didn't eat at the property as I believed the prices to have been a bit high, however there is a Starbucks which is a life saver especially on a hangover. I also think those...

"We stayed for one night as we had a concert in Sheffield city centre. The hotel and room itself were very clean and the room had everything we needed - including bath robes which we weren’t expecting! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Excellent small hotel - we had a great stay.

"This is a fantastic small hotel in an excellent location next to a large park as well as excellent shopping and eateries. Although we'd recommend eating in the hotel - some of the best food we've had for a long time. There is attention to detail everywhere - cleanliness, friendliness and all the extras you'd need in the room including a coffee machine."
