"Best Western Brook Norwich Hotel check in experience I booked a family room. I came with a heavy luggage and two young children (2y and 4y). My room was on 2nd floor. I found it isn’t convenient that there is no lift because it is not easy to carry the luggage through stairs while looking after two children on stairs. There was a slight walk way from reception and the stairs. The lighting is a bit dark. My two children were scared of walking through it. I wish the lighting can be as bright...

"Being the week before Xmas, we wanted a peaceful rest We made an on line booking for a family room, on arrival we were given number 112 which when we realized at 5.45 am that a waste bin collection lorry had a collection which woke us up there was a lot of noise with no consideration to the people sleeping in the rooms above this area. We paid very good money £117.00 for one nights stay, we did not choose this room we were given this room, saying you are allocated to room 112 upon arrival, why...

Once got our keys we went to the room to find the shower in a closet and it was eother steaming hot or freezing cold so showers were impossible. The bed was tiny and the springs stuck in your back as you laid on it. We was there for 2 nights and our room was not cleaned or fresh towels. We then had to move the bed before departure and found wrappers from previous owners and dirt showing that...

"The George is our preferred hotel for our Norwich stays. The staff is excellent; attentive, experienced, pleasant. Location works very well for us. Close to the city centre, for drinks/dinner with friends and easy/quick route out of Norwich for our drive south."

"Convenient location, nicely decorated room, excellent unexpected touches ( fruit juicees & chocolate) . Lacking a little maintenance otherwise a pleasant place to be. My room overloaded the mail sorting office which is brightly lit at night so black out curtains would have been nice. Well heated ( adjustable) . The vegan/ vegetarian restaurant downstairs was very nice with lots of different dishes to try a new experience. Worth returning just to dine here. "
