"I booked the Balmoral because it was in the historic district downtown, so I knew we'd be in the center of the city. I wanted to see the old section and we found the Museum of Costa Rica, which is housed in an old fort, right downtown. There was an restaurant sort of attached to the hotel which was very convenient and perfect for a nice dinner.
