"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "We love this location right on the beach. The rooms aren’t super modern but are clean and comfortable. For a multiple night stay we don’t think it gets much better - price, location, big rooms with kitchenettes - we like it all."

"Stinky smell like urine inside the elevator. Only 1 elevator is working. Ancient property everything is old, needs to update some of it but excellent staff and customer service."
