"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "The space was fantastic and very good value. The studio suite was spacious and laid out in a practical way with a sofa and dining table near the bed. The balcony was also spacious, and I imagine lovely on sunnmer evenings. The mini kitchen was fully stocked and convenient, and the rain shower in the bathroom was a soothing surprise. The only downside was a strong perfume-like scent that even permeated the dishes. I imagine it came from scented cleaning products. If someone is scent sensitive,...

"Great location, great dining options, excellent atmosphere, would stay here again. Only cons are - property could use a refresh, rented 3 rooms for the family and mine was smelly as a pets had obviously been staying there. Overall though good visit, friendly staff, awesome location and I would stay here again. "
