We were told that there would be no room service. Twice within and hour we had people trying to enter our room. The first time a lady announced herself as house keeping she was very flustered when she couldn’t get in and asked that we go out so she can clean we told her no we don’t want room service an hour later I just so happened to look over and the door was attempting to be opened again. Told concierge and they seemed very concerned. Only retribution options we were given were free parking on the day we checked out which meant we were leaving and didn’t need parking or a free meal at apple bees which was about to close.

We had a room with no hot water and when we checked out 30 minutes after trying to take a shower we mentioned it to the clerk and she told us that there was nothing wrong! The hallways were freezing cold and overall it was not an enjoyable stay!!!

The property is close to everything we wanted to do.It's walkable to the falls and the casino .Very convenient to the restaurants.What I didn't like very much is the carpet in the room.It has a funny smell.I think it needs a little updating. Overall my friends and I had a great time staying at Oakes hotel.Their staff are excellent. Thank you .

Excellent view! The location was great for what we came to Niagara for. However, awful staff. Very incompetent, tried to rip me off, language barriers and just not overall a good check-in experience. I wouldn’t come back unless I had too since my bf works a contract beside the hotel.
