""Quirky chic" Hotel is right on the water, great snorkeling and swimming, relaxing pool area, great restaurant. Easy to get a 5 min cab ride to town for activities and other places to eat. Outside of hotel could use a paint job. Rooms are fine, nothing amazing."

"Beautiful property with two large pools (one quiet pool and another for families / adults). The family pool is right near three great restaurants and sandy beach and amazing waters. Room was overlooking the ocean. Lots of mosquitoes. On my last day I noticed vector control was spraying where the rooms are located. Friendly and attentive staff. Great for a solo traveler wanting some peace and quiet and great for families as well. If you like more of a party scene, this is not the place for you. If you value peace and quiet or family time you will remember for years to come, you will enjoy this place. About 15 mins from city center. Never felt unsafe for a second (solo travel). Playa del Carmen a mere 45 min ferry ride. I recommend ultramar ferry (premium class: better seats and not cost prohibitive). I would definitely come back to this hotel with my family. "

"Staff was amazing. Beach and snorkeling a big plus. Food choices and quality spot on. Room fridge broken-reported but never fixed. Door strike plate broken so door didn’t stay closed. Door knob to bathroom wouldn’t stay in place."

"This is an older resort but well maintained, very clean, and safe. The staff is just tremendous. The beds are hard. If you employ a butler this might not be the place for you. We have been here many times and hopefully will return. I am an old diver. "

"It was our 5th time staying in Cozumel, first time north of centro. Loved it! Cabs into town $10 each way, food at Westin was excellent Snorkelling outside the hotel was amazing! Clean rooms, AC was great. No issues Did not want to go home today "
