"An extremely warm welcome set the tone for my visit, yea and cake to start off with. First class service delivered by the marvellous hosts. A very well appointed room and en-suite bathroom. A fantastic house with a spectacular spacious garden. Minutes away from the Bird in the Hand pub and restaurant. I will be back for future visits to my family in the area. Very tasty breakfast ideal for setting up your day of activities."

"Lovely spacious accomodation, no much information abd also didn't realise not part of hotel building, didn't know b where to get keys etc, check out time etc. No reply via reception phone or email response to any queries. But stay was good and apartment good!"

"Slightly dated but nothing to complain about. Clean, comfy, friendly staff."

"Staff very helpful and restaurant offered a decent range of options. Bed extremely comfortable and 1st floor corridor generally quiet. Somewhat disappointed that room was not made up until after 4pm on a couple of days, had to go down to lounge area to wait for cleaners to finish. Also noticed that glasses were left outside rooms and not collected from several hours, this presented a trip hazard and a danger for guests especially children. Overall a most enjoyable 4 day stay."
