"This was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. It’s like living in a treehouse in the jungle. Location is great if you’re looking for a quiet place to escape the craziness but also still close to everything. Room service was excellent and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. "This is our sixth stay at katathani over 10 years. We have seen the resort change and improve over the years but the basic characteristics are the same: a very large resort along a beach which is almost predominantly used by hotel guests with a number of small restaurants and shops on the outside of the resort and 5 or six within the resort. We came originally as a couple and now we have three children and it is still brilliant. "
