"Love the property. We stayed in one of the renovated pool villas which was nicely done. We could see some parts of the resort needs renovation and updating. Warm and welcoming service. Housekeeping a little inconsistent and can be improved. Restaurant bookings also can be managed better. There could more choices of outlets for lunch and due to CNY, breakfast was a little chaotic, maybe open up one more outlet to accommodate the overflow of guests during breakfast? Beautiful setting and grounds....

"We absolutely loved the resort and only left it to eat dinners at the restaurant a block away. It was rainy, but with a jacuzzi pool attached to our patio we hardly minded. I imagine this hotel is nowhere near as nice if you are in an upper floor. The water features are what Sugar Marina is all about. Gorgeous rooms and super nice landscaping throughout. We did not travel with kids, but this is a great place for them, with an awesome kiddie pool and play zone."

"The check-in process and the initial refusal to honour the all inclusive offer we had prebooked that was only overturned by the duty manager because he "couldn't find proof" in the booking that it wasn't booked for all three guests left a bitter taste. The implication was very clear that he was saying the booking was somehow invalid. Eventually he 'let it go'. There is some retraining needed on front desk and the duty manager involved. Im stark contrast the staff everywhere else in the hotel...
