"Visited during rainy season. Fabulous views, staff, bed, linen, pillows, AC, pool, outside over-the-water restaurant/bar, & beach area. Room w/broken sliding door. Recommend: replace room curtains, deep cleaning floor into corners, sweep bugs (lots of flies). Honors jubalido (resident senior discount). "

"The staff was amazing. The food was good. The room was beautiful. I stayed in one of the above water bungalows. The only downfall is there is very little to do nearby. You are pretty much stranded on this island unless you arrange some kind of transport or tour. If you’re looking for a vacation where you can totally check out from the world this is it. If you’re looking for a place to do lots of activities, this is not. Management took care of everything I asked for, including an unexpected...

"Decent place, you get what you pay for. The room was a bit outdated and the entire hotel lost power from 9pm to around 2am which was a bit inconvenient. The owner of the hotel drives and picks you up to a pair of restaurants he owns in the downtown area which was very nice. The property is nice and peaceful, next to a river. "

"Absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast every morning watching an array of beautiful birds. Comfortable room, and the covered patio was delightful. The staff were so accommodating, and scheduled activities we were interested in. Highest recommendation!!"
