"Decent place, you get what you pay for. The room was a bit outdated and the entire hotel lost power from 9pm to around 2am which was a bit inconvenient. The owner of the hotel drives and picks you up to a pair of restaurants he owns in the downtown area which was very nice. The property is nice and peaceful, next to a river. "

"The location of this hostel is a bit removed from town but there are busitos available every hour to go in between for 1$ pp each way; as long as you're not too claustrophobic. Angel is fantastic for letting you know the times when they'll be coming through if you ask and will even message and watch for them if you need to catch one. Amenities are basic but comfortable. Wifi speed was about 4-5Mbps. Cleanliness was pretty great with only a few smaller issues that come from sharing a bathroom....

"It's hard to share how wonderful this place really is to experience. Single guy traveling in wet season. This place is amazing. The people who run the place care, love the area and place and everything was more than I could imagine. It's not a hotel high rise, big city, AC hotel, a million TV channels, don't seek that here. "Nice hotel, great staff, first room was unbearably loud. There was a night club right outside our window that went to 4 am and it was like it was playing in the room even with ear plugs. Impossible to sleep. We mentioned it to the receptionist and she mixed us to a quieter, slightly smaller room, which we were very grateful for. I will say the food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff was way overworked on the weekends, but very pleasant anyway. They had a terrific 2 for 1 on...
