"The overall facilities of the property were very good. Rooms were clean and they had all the necessary amenities to be comfortable (small refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer, BBQ stove, a private terrace), However, the hotel has way too many rules and policies which makes it unwelcoming. If you infringe on any of these rules it will cost you. These rules include the hours of checking in and out, visiting hours of non-registered guests, losing of keys, among others. "Decent place, you get what you pay for. The room was a bit outdated and the entire hotel lost power from 9pm to around 2am which was a bit inconvenient. The owner of the hotel drives and picks you up to a pair of restaurants he owns in the downtown area which was very nice. The property is nice and peaceful, next to a river. "

"2 bedroom, great A/C , on the water, con, venient access egress by water taxi $1 nearby restaurants. breaky is ok. staff very helpful. Noisy from water taxis, bring earplugs. Occasional dogs barking.. all over Panama as they stay outdoors"

"Best place in Panama. We drove from Panama City eight hours but worth it We loved the national park feel hiked the trails (even to the waterfall) had great food and the best coffee, Ask Roosevelt in the dining room how he got his name. Don’t miss this place"

"Visited during rainy season. Fabulous views, staff, bed, linen, pillows, AC, pool, outside over-the-water restaurant/bar, & beach area. Room w/broken sliding door. Recommend: replace room curtains, deep cleaning floor into corners, sweep bugs (lots of flies). Honors jubalido (resident senior discount). "
