"Inside the hotel provided a nice Victorian feel. However, outside the hotel there is a lot of homelessness around the entire downtown area (not just limited to this hotel). As long as you are aware of this, it's a great place to stay. We still walked around outside the hotel as there are many places to eat nearby, within walking distance. "

"This was our second time here. The first time we weren't aware it's a truck stop hotel. What that really means is it offers SO MUCH MORE than most hotels. The included breakfast is actually at a sit down restaurant, not the standard cold cereal, make your own waffle type breakfast.
