We had someone pounding on our door in the middle of the night. The front desk staff were responsive, but there was never any conclusion on what was happening. There aren’t any cameras to see the hallway for visitor safety. We were not able to sleep as we were very uncomfortable with what was going on just outside our room.

I stayed here because I wanted something near the airport. I recommend if you are flying out. They offer free shuttle to and from the airport. It was only a 6 min drive to the airport.

This is a handy comfortable lodging convenient to PDX, but not an easy walk w luggage if one is taking MAX. My chief concern about the room is that there are no blackout curtains so the room is very very light at night from all the ground lights.

I have to clip the curtains together so we can have privacy. It was ripped & old. The staff are nice though & its in a good location. I wish they will just upgrade their curtains.

I’m going to start this off by saying I really enjoyed the employees. When I got into my room, there were mysterious stains coating almost all furniture and a large stain on my pillowcase. Not my favorite, so I sat my things down, and started looking around the room — no remote. I did not want to be blamed for the missing remote (I also didn’t need to watch TV) but I contacted the desk and they said they would have a remote brought up to me. Hours went by, I left - came back, once again asked for a remote and was told one would be brought to me.. still nothing, I asked for a remote a 3rd time on my second day, but told them it was more to do with having the option - not a matter of utmost importance, but they once again told me that a remote would be brought to me. I was not surprised when it was never brought to me. Small tidbit to add was somebody set all of the fire alarms off the afternoon before my departure and the hallway reeked of chemical fire for the rest of my stay. Hope everybody was okay, but it was alarming and a little bit of a headache. Anyway, the staff was personable. The pool was decrepit, but I enjoyed it. I am sorry to write a poor review, but it was definitely something I wouldn’t recommend. PS, if you’re leaving your hazmat stains all over a hotel room expecting an already busy team of housekeepers to see every bit of damage you’ve done - shame on you. Shame on me for not sticking up for myself more while staying here.
