I had a quick layover so just needed an inexpensive place to stay. The check in clerk was very accommodating and friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which I’m very picky about. The bathroom is nice as well. I was on the first floor and one of the doors nearby slams shut quite often and is super loud even from inside my room, which was hard because I needed to go to bed early and would hear it. For an inexpensive hotel this one is good and would recommend. Also I liked that there is shuttle service.

First off, I was surprised that there is no restaurant on site. Second, that it was so far from other restaurants. Cascade Station (giant outdoor mall with a few restaurants) is walkable for vigorous folks only. A paved path from the front of the hotel up to the paved sidewalk on the main drag would bypass a lot of the walking distance as it doubles back. Figure $10 each way to take a rideshare to Cascade Station. The room itself was fine, although I ended up on the airport side of the bldg rather tha the quieter side. Pros- clean, inexpensive, round the clock shuttle to PDX. Fine for a one night stay before an early flight.

We have stayed here many times but this may be our last. Pet friendly rooms are on the first floor. Parking abuts the building. And people are rude. Slamming car doors. Beeping their door locks. Our room was next to the outside exit door whose hydraulic spring wasn’t working so the door slammed shut at 10p, 11p, 1p. Ugh. But AC heater worked well. Beds comfortable. Bring earplugs.
