Iberostar, Cancun South hotels

"First off....no seaweed! Small, but beautiful beach with clear water and some cute fishies and cool birds to see. Resort is clean, clean, CLEAN. You can see the staff actively cleaning constantly -- even dusting the ceiling fans in the lobby! The room was very large and comfortable, although a little warm even with the AC on. Water pressure and temp in shower was great. One pool is livelier and louder, one is chill, and then a much smaller pool is very calm and quite nearly all the time. Although we are picky and did not like any of the specialty restaurant menus, we have never seen a better all-inclusive buffet. Fresh cooked proteins, loads of veggies and fruits, and wide variety. We looked forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Drinks were good, but not strong. The resort overall is very small, which I liked, b/c I've been to others where you need a golf cart to get from one end to the other. Close to airport---about 30 minute ride. "

"The property is beautiful!! No fault of the resort, the seaweed was terrible this time of year. I appreciated that they had a tractor out every morning combing the beach for seaweed. The dining experiences were amazing. Definitely recommend the hibachi if you have a chance to do it. "
