"Stayed in a 1 bedroom family apartment. A period property that has been stylishly decorated. Comfortable bed with plump pillows and quality bed linen. Daughter said could feel springs in pull out sofa but not too much to grumble about. A great position off the Clifton triangle so walk pretty much anywhere with lots of restaurants nearby. "I would say the cleanliness could be better. The carpets in the bar were not clean. The hotel looks like it needs a freshening up. It can feel at bit dark and dreary. The cocktail was really nice from the bar and friendly helpful bartender. ( martini expresso) The room (signature suite) was lovely with hign end toiletries and the bed was very comfortable. 35 min walk into town going downhill a bit longer coming back uphill. A beautiful spot overlooking the suspension bridge and gorge."

"This is our second year staying at Bristol Redcliffe; it is in ideal base for travelling around Bristol and into Bath--great bus, coach, and train services--and there's good coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, and markets close by. "A good place to stay when visiting Bristol, as it's only 5-10 minutes walk into the City Centre & riverside attractions. The reception is spotless and spacious, with very efficient staff. Due to a fall the day before arriving my wife arrived in a wheelchair, and without any fuss or request from myself, the reception staff allocated us a wheelchair friendly room on the 1st floor. Large rooms and very comfortable

"I did have trouble getting through to the hotel by telephone before our arrival which took hours but eventually someone answered and was able to answer my query. The rooms were a very good size. We were a family and had 2 rooms next to each other with an inter-linking door which was perfect. Staff were friendly and very good service."
