The staff were phenomenal, Rachel, I believe her name was, was so welcoming the night we got there, so chatty and friendly, she made it seem like a home away from home, especially since we were so far away from home. The room was beautiful and so clean, I could’ve just lived in there forever, and the breakfast staff the morning after were so unbelievably kind, made sure we were well attended to, we definitely will be back next time we’re down there. I must say, the car park was slightly hard to find 😂 but that could have just been me, apart from that it was everything we could have asked for and more

We stayed as we were attending an event in Clifton, and the Victoria Square was ideally located. It was a 5 minute walk away. The car park was very convenient as parking around the Square would have been impossible. Much of the surrounding parking is permit only so we would have had to have parked quite some distance away. And £9/day is reasonable. Our room was at the top of the house. The room was nice, quite small and a very thin wall with the adjoining room. A bit more insulation/sound-proofing between the two rooms would be preferable as you could hear them moving around in their room, not great when they decide to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and you can hear the footsteps across their room. The location is perfect, parking is good and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Staff were so friendly and breakfast was lovely - we thought it was a bit much to have to preorder day before but it actually meant a quick, efficient service. And breakfast room very pleasant - bright and warm. The room was quiet and comfortable but a bit overpriced at nearly £100 without breakfast - everything is a bit work out. Chipped paint, old furniture, threadbare bed base. Shower was great though.

It has parking on-site, but it costs extra. Breakfast was good. Good location for the Bristol area. Room was tiny, but functional for one night. Apparently no lifts and the stairs were tight with a large suitcase.

My third stay here and once again excellent. Fabulous service and very clean and comfortable. Parking does tend to fill up but we have always managed to find a place. East]y walk to Clifton village across the square and to the lovely shops and cafes

This hotel is in a great location in Clifton. Easy walking to amazing restaurants and independent shops. And right on the frequent #8 bus route if you're coming from the train station. It's a 3-star hotel so as long as you're not expecting 5-star facilities, it's good. Very clean with friendly staff. My only complaint was that our room (actually the whole 2nd floor) didn't smell great.

Excellent hotel in a great location
We had a great 2 night stay at the Victoria square. Room was clean, comfortable and airy. Breakfast for £13pp was superb value - quality ingredients, fresh and delicious. We will definitely be staying here again on another visit to Bristol.

Lovely overnight stay. 2nd floor room but was lovely and big and staff had taken time to open windows as it was unexpected warm autumn day. Shower was lovely and hot..room comfy and clean. Staff had arranged surprise message and chocolates for my birthday and also gave free parking. Would recommend as walking distance into Clifton and also to Park Street
