"One night stay Super helpful friendly guy on check in. We had food & drinks in bar while awaiting arrival of friends. The fish wrap was gorgeous, Served with fresh hot fries. My partner had a pizza which was served on a long wooden platter. Was enough for 2 or 1 bigger appetite.Team in bar area were great, Nothing was to much trouble even when it got busier. Plenty of Tea/Sugar/milk etc in Room Huge bed, great clean linen. Bathroom was in the whole clean but it did look a bit tired around shower...

"We had a lovely stay. The had a lovely apartment with all amenities. Used the pool and jacuzzi/sauna/steam room all great. Had a meal in the bar which was great and quite good value. The wine however was extortionate £13 for a large glass and £10 for a medium glass!!! The site was beautiful the lake and grounds were lovely and the little church was lovely! The service was EXCELLENT in hotel and spa. Thank you. Would highly recommend...but stay off the wine!!"

"1 night stay as working locally. Staff were all excellent, friendly but very professional. Room was clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable but perhaps needing a little tlc, particularly the bathroom. Restaurant was well run, with good menu, meals (dinner and breakfast) were presented nicely and very enjoyable. Overall a good option, only niggle was additional charge to use the gym/spa (so didnt use!)."

"Overall a good budget overnight stay on the road. Parking space are too tight. Room could have been cleaner, floor was not vacuumed and there was a hair on the bed. I do like the interior design. The overhead shower head kept dripping all night, might as well get rid of it. Could have ordered breakfast if it's flat rate walk-in buffet. Requiring a reservation time is just too big of a commitment "

"This was a remarkable historic place to stay with so much architectural character in the old building. Just sitting in the bar having a drink by the huge historic fireplace was a wonderful experience! The grounds, walk to the canal and adjacent church were equally amazing. We also had a lovely dinner and breakfast but the building itself and grounds was a highlight of our 2 week visit to the Cotswolds!"

"Very quirky and charming building stairs to access bedrooms would not be suitable for everyone. Staff on the whole were very pleasant and attentive. The entrance to the car park is quite narrow but it was great to have the option. The hotel is right on one of the main shopping streets with lots of lovely coffee shops and gift/antique shops. The breakfast was lovely with high quality ingredients. "
