"Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. "

A lovely town despite the traffic through route! I enjoyed the museum above the library next to the car park on the south side of the bridge.

Taxi office outside railway station. Fare starts from £6 (2024price). It's a steep uphill walk for most of the route to hotel although flat once you arrive in Woolley. Footbridge across the tracks. Market day Thurs. Visit BOA lock and Lock Inn

Good tip from one of the waitresses at breakfast was to park and walk along the tow path into BOA was really pretty walk.
"Really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The location is excellent giving easy access to Clifton, the city centre, and the harbourside. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The staff were also very helpful. We would recommend this hotel. The on-site car parking was also convenient. "
"Wonderful stay. Indigo is an amazing and quirky hotel and centrally located. Staff are very friendly and heloful. Unfortunately our room wasn't serviced after our first night or I would give 5 * for service. We were out from 8 am to 5.45 so there was plenty of opportunity. We asked for fresh towels and tea bags in lieu. I don't blame the hotel, just the person who didn't fulfil their duties. Unexpected. "
"First time I've ever used this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. Room was fully featured whilst compact, staff were friendly. Will definitely consider using them again."
