"Great walking distance to most of the tourist things. We had a view of the river and the lake, which means we had a great view for NYE fireworks. We liked the Big Bar and bartenders. The $25 credit was nice and we each had a drink each night before dinner. We would recommend."

"If there is an opportunity to offer 1/2 stars, I would give this property another 1/2 star (4.5 total). The tiny anomalies about accommodations are sometimes the ones that leave the most lasting impression. In this case, it was the shower. Yes, the shower itself worked. But since the shower faucet handle was not screwed to the shower (it came away readily), it also meant having to adjust the temperature with each use. "In general it was very nice. Lobby was lovely, elevators quick, workout room very nice. But we waited in line for over 90 minutes just to check in. There were over 60 people checking in and only one person working the general side and another working the honors side. We nearly missed our show and others were late for a Bears game. It was ridiculously understaffed when you knew how many would be checking in."
