"Absolutely beautiful hotel. What I love the most is the private onsen in the room. It's in a semi-open space (not in the room, but under a roof kind of in the back balcony). The private onsen refills itself, and temperature regulated. It was amazing. Beautiful scenery, excellent staff, exceptional breakfast."

"The hotel is located at the edge of Arashiyama park, so super convenient and walkable to the river band, the park observation point, the Seiryiji temple and bamboo forest, as well as the down town shopping/dinning area, yet, it is also sitting at a pretty quiet location. You can also walk cross the Togetsukyō bridge to the other side for the Monkey park, etc. The hotel room is very spacious, also offer hot spring pools for both female and male. The taxi ride from train station is not bad...

luxurious experience on a vacation ever. The staff are very gracious and attentive. The views from our apartment and our dining room were peaceful and gorgeous. We enjoyed our private outdoor bathing to sooth our hiking and standing feet/bodies. The location is beautiful, perfectly located near attractions to be reached on foot - bamboo forest, kimono forest, seeing monkeys and the scenery all around is spectacular.
