"I did book this hotel for two nights but decided to book another hotel for the replacement of the second night here. This is an older hotel. It is next to the Arashiyama Train station. Great location for being next to a quiet train station. The inside needs updating. Our room is non smoking but walking to the room it smelled strong of cigarette smoke. "Great Onsen hotel in the heart of the town, just one station away from Kyoto station, really great location for those who cannot afford the time to travel far for Onsen hotel.
