This is a perfect hotel for anyone who wants to visit Jeju Island but doesn't want to drive a car. The hotel is located in the center of the City of Seogwipo and is less than 5 minutes of walking to public bus stops, which can take you to practically all attractions on Jeju Island. You just need to tell the hotel manager which spot you want to go, and she will tell you the bus number and will write down the name of your destination in Korean on a piece of paper (for you to show to the bus driver). The hotel's central location also means easy access to the many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. The hotel is of fairly new construction. My room, though basic, had everything I needed: clean, comfortable and spacious with a large bathroom. Even though it is located in downtown, my room was quiet because the hotel is on a small street and because of the floor-to-ceiling double dual-pane windows which provide good insulation. The most impressive part of this hotel is, however, its manager who was so enthusiastic and patient in helping me, a first-time visitor to Korea and Jeju, to get all my necessities and to get around. The English-speaking manager was, however, not on duty 24 hours per day. So I, who is unable to speak Korean, had to make sure that I asked all the questions during her duty hours. In all, for the modest price it charges, the hotel is a real hidden gem on Jeju Island. I will certainly stay there again next time I visit Jeju.
