"Overall the property was great. The only thing that needs improvement is the check in process, especially with travellers flying in late in the evening. If it wasn't for one of the friendly tenants calling the security guard for me, we probably wouldn't be able to get into our suite. There's no front desk reception. So My suggestion to management is to email travellers of check in instructions and what to expect at least 3 days prior to check in. But other than that, our stay was great!"

"This review is for the Waikiki Banyan hotel. We were re-accommodated to it, not by choice as the 2 bedroom unit we booked in the Ilikai was no longer available. We were told this 9:30 pm the night before check in. They re-accommodated us to a small 1 bedroom unit with not enough beds for our party of 5. The unit looked clean, and everything worked except the door lock on the bathroom....

"Hotel was well maintained and staff during the stay was pleasant. My only disappointment- I received an email from the hotel stating that if there was anything the could do to make the stay more special to let them know. So I took up the offer. I shared with the hotel that I was proposing to my partner during the stag and asked if a they could do ANYTHING that would make it more special. I then received a text message from Dexter from the hotel concierge stating unfortunately “no.” LOL "

"I loved the gentle Old Hawaii atmosphere. My room in the tower had a lovely view of the ocean and was tastefully and comfortably decorated. The staff are outstanding in every way. It was my first time at The Kaiulani. I've stayed at The Sheraton Waikiki and several other hotels, but in the future will choose The Kaiulani. "
