"The hotel is more than nice for the price, you get more, I think is more designed for local nationals that arrive in their cars, you can rent but if you dont split the car rental fare between several people then it would be the same to stay at a ski in ski out, the hotel have shuttles to the mountain, but you have to know their location and pick up spots. "We had an amazing stay. The food, the staff, and the whole vibe of the decor are incredible. What a cozy, lovely spot. I know the harsh winters can be hard in a property, but I would suggest they do some minor maintenance (wood paneling on private outdoor onsen area, rust on private porch railing, wallpaper in entrance area) to ensure this amazing hotel can stay around for a long time! It's a 10-minute walk to the Annupuri Gondola, had a cute little bar on-site for great apres drinks and a food cart that was there each evening. "We stayed at Fryingpan for 5 nights and it was truly lovely. The shared bathrooms are very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast every morning was western style but delicious. A very short walk to the Annupurni gondola and lifts. Above all of the wonderful accommodations were the lovely people and staff we met while staying there. I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality and the friends we met while staying there. Amazing place run by wonderful people. "

"The host was so kind and generous. We had arrived 1 day before our scheduled booking, by my mistake. The host offered to let us wait in the lobby for a taxi, and when he found that we could not get one as it was late at night, he offered to drive us to the nearest 7-eleven, in his personal vehicle, after hours.
