"Great location. We were in town for Fiesta, and the place was perfect to go to all the festivities. Walking distance to good food. The address was a little confusing, but all worked out in the long run. A little cramped for two people getting ready for formal events. Would be great for a TDY or place to stay for a while on business. Laundry facility was a bonus! "

"This place wasn’t fancy or special but we had a great stay because they got all the basics right. Automated check-in and coded entry to room and main house was a breeze. We stayed in Clare Cottage at the back of the property. Appreciated the extra portable electric heater that we used instead of the wall mounted unit at night: it kept us warm and was nice and quiet. "I’ve always loved this hotel but I think it’s time for a refresh. Upon arrival there were people sleeping behind the hotel. We arrived early but the little bar didn’t open until 6 .the rooms just seem tired. The bath vanity was warped and had water damage in the side . The old furniture used to seem quirky and kitschy but now seems just worn out. Probably won’t stay here again unless they refresh. C’mon Hotel Havana you used to be the darling of San Antonio!"

"The lady who lent us the wheelchair (petite lady seems like part of ballet)is really genuinely nice, even cleaned the wheelchair before giving it to us- we are truly grateful. The ballet team are really nice and friendly. The receptionist is like just delivering speech by memorization, no human touch. $40 parking plus tax is too much. "Commode rocked side to side, beds were lumpy. Breakfast waffles were good. Room to eat in is small, but at least available. Towels were super old and small. No washrags or hand towels provided. Place is old, but at least seemed clean."

"This is a great option if you're staying in San Antonio. I missed the deadline to book accommodations onsite at the conference I was attending and came across the Riverwalk Plaza on Expedia. It's tucked away a bit (my uber driver was shocked to learn of this hotel lol), but it's a nice spot and less than a 5 min walk to the main streets. The lobby and my room were both clean, cozy and well maintained. When I messaged the front desk about issues with the room's heating, they sent someone to fix it immediately. Niche, the hotel's coffee shop, is lovely as well. "

Love this location

"We have stayed at this hotel many times. We don't even look anywhere else when in San Antonio, It has its own entrance on to the Riverwalk, it is close to shopping, great food, everything we need while in town. There is an indoor pool and a rooftop pool, the view is amazing."
