"Wife and I stayed here Sunday/Monday in mid-February. Had nice suite on 12th floor with 'view' of Riverwalk. I say 'view' rather sarcastically since there is a very narrow portion of the walk that snakes through the backyard of the hotel, surrounded by other high-rise buildings and alot of concrete. So while the 'view' wasn't ideal, we did have a nice balcony and the room was very quiet, clean, and comfortable during our one-night stay. "This is our second time at Hotel Contessa. We love this hotel and its amenities. This trip the hot tub was down and water level was below the jets. It was disappointing as that was one of the reasons we chose Hotel Contessa was the rooftop hot tub, but everything else was great. We will be back."

"This is a great option if you're staying in San Antonio. I missed the deadline to book accommodations onsite at the conference I was attending and came across the Riverwalk Plaza on Expedia. It's tucked away a bit (my uber driver was shocked to learn of this hotel lol), but it's a nice spot and less than a 5 min walk to the main streets. The lobby and my room were both clean, cozy and well maintained. When I messaged the front desk about issues with the room's heating, they sent someone to fix it immediately. Niche, the hotel's coffee shop, is lovely as well. "
