"Despite the lack of clean washcloths/towels for the bathrooms, amenities on site overshadow negativities at this resort. The children loved Bingo and Bluie. Restaurants were fair priced and the morning breakfast buffet was well worth the price!"

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Francis Marion. Our family of 4 stayed for a week and we were very comfortable in our room; it’s in a perfect location for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The staff was friendly and efficient! "

"The place is amazing. The rooms are dated but the view is priceless. We didn't come here to stay in the room so that was not a problem. Great entertainment at the bar, pools, hot tub and view. Very budget friendly "

"Pros: The curtains could be drawn to completely block light. The room was nicely furnished and well equipped, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom immaculate. Cons: The room (221) was colder than I wanted and I couldn’t adjust the AC jso I finally unplugged it. The closet with the refrigerator and microwave doesn’t smell good and needs airing I arrived late and left very early so can’t comment on everything but I will return next time I arrive at the airport. "

"I did like the property and how attentive the staff was. I also enjoyed the DJ by the pools and the bar. One thing I think would be good is to add a broom and dustpan to each of the rooms for easy sand clean up. Our hotel was very sandy and I didn’t feel it was right to constantly reach out to have someone clean our messes. Other than that it was very nice."
