"Hotel was 20 minutes from big sky and 40 from Yellowstone. Not convenient location. No directions on website how to drive there. No directions to find cabins. I ended up in the supply cabins. No TV. Excellent room as advertised spotless. Nice fireplace. Their cancelation policy sucks. My date got sick so I had to go alone. No refund even though I bought your insurance!!! No exchange of dates which I could have done after Christmas. The internet worked well. Room was heated before I got there. ...

" Typical Western atmosphere I felt like I was back in 1850. Lots of horses. Staff was friendly - Breakfast was good. Music in the bar at night was good. "I stayed at the Sparrow Cottage for a weekend in December. There was a little hiccup with the gate code, so I’m glad I arrived while the office was still open. Everything else was great - very clean and comfortable cottage, great welcome/breakfast basket, a really useful suite of appliances for toast and coffee. "We had a delightful stay at Elktrace Lodge for two nights. Our cozy cottage was perfect for my husband and me plus our two dogs, plus the location was great for skiing at Wolf Creek. Tom and Evelyn, the hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay special. They are warm and inviting, and their attention to detail made us feel right at home. "I slept so good ! The beds are comfy ! The bedding is not hotel linens ;) we were at the property over the holiday’s and it stormed the entire time.
