"Service is excellent- staff are friendly and helpful. Room is quite spacious. Breakfast is basic, as in most minsu. Hotel is rather old and bedroom floor is rather dusty. No hand soap or hand towels provided. Location is right next to the Ita Thaoqlake and just 3 minutes walk to old street and pier. Room rates pricey considering the condition of the room and facilities."

"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, that it's in Taiwan, where expectations of hotels is low makes that even more impressive! The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening. "On the same street as Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, but cost 10x less. Good for 1-2nights stay. Clean place with private, lockable cabins, and very near the ITA Thao shopping street and pier. You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Even though the opening hours of some food stores are quite unpredictable, there are plenty of options and two convenience stores around."
