"Located right in the heart of Myeongdong, my family and I had incredible experience staying in this hotel. The only suggestion for improvement is that they should probably include information on the availability of coin operated laundry service at the 6th floor. We were not aware of its existence at all until the last morning of our stay."

The location is a dream with tons of restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, an open-air market across the street, right next to a metro stop, easily walkable from the Seoul train station, close to Seoul tower, Myeong-dong shopping etc. The staff was great, the room were well appointed, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffer has a lot of tasty options. Recommended!"

"Second stay with my family here. While location is fantastic, there are still a few areas that can be improved. Frosted with transparent bathroom wall makes showering extremely challenging for non-couple roommates. My sister had to use towels and tapes to block the transparent area so she can shower in peace while my dad remains in the room. We are also not able to hang our towels and clothes inside the bathroom since there are no hooks available. You end up having to step into the bedroom...

"Had a last minute layover in Seoul and most of the hotels were fully booked. Travelodge Dongdaemun is a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of Dongdaemun and a 10-minute walk to Gwangjang Market. If you take transit, it’s a few bus stops or few subway stations away from Myeongdong. Airport limousine bus 6001 has a stop across the street at Baiton Hotel. The staff here are very helpful.
