"I loved staying in itaewon. Never a dull moment. Always so exciting. Staff was always super nice. I love the high tech samsung doorknob. Private room was very nice. I accidentally slept in on my last day and left a big pile of cans in my room. Im very sorry. Thank you for being such great hosts."

However , it is some distance of walk from the subway station along a narrow, uneven side walk… somewhat challenging if you have more than one suitcase. "8000 won is an incredible amount to do a load of laundry. The free continental breakfast was very nice, yet no one hosted it. There was no one at the desk. I had woken up at 8am and a fellow said to come back at 10am for laundry assistance. I returned at 9:20am and ate breakfast and waited over two hours waiting for staff to help with my laundry, (per signage, on TWO mornings)! This is the first place I’ve ever stayed that insisted one throw-away toilet tissue rather than flushing it....

"Enjoyed staying at the property as it was conveniently located in Dongdaemun, specifically just outside exit 4 of Dongdaemun culture and history park station (there's an elevator which is a huge plus when you're bringing luggage). "Absolutely the most central location to most things. As a first time Visitor, I highly recommend this properly. Restaurants, markets, shops, temples. All surrounding the property no more than a 1.5km walk. Everything you need and more within the area. Very safe with 24/7 convenience right by the entrance. Also cant get any safer then being next door to a giant police station building. "

"Loved staying in this hotel. Central to literally everything in myeongdong area. Very quiet rooms though in the busiest area of town. Only catch is it is not convient if you have large bags and suitcases, as there are no taxis. Hotel managers were incredibly helpful to help me back to the bus station with my luggage. Thank you so much for that. "

"Didn't use the swimming pool but used the nice little gym. Friendly and polite staff, a lot of food places around, walkable distance to shopping places, next to a metro station - city hall. Clean and tidy room, love the bidet, comfortable stay, strong heating, very warm, had to open some window. Snowed when we stayed, pretty around, not blocked by high buildings. "The evening staff was very tolerant to me who just flew 13 hours. He never lost his calm and smile. He even handed me some welcoming chocolate cookies. Also, knew how to speak English. The breakfast buffet was the best I had ever experienced throughout Europe, US, Asia, and Scandinavia lately. The floor staff and everywhere, were just wonderful. What a place!!!!"

"Had an exceptional stay at L'escape. The design and ambience of the hotel and suite is one of a kind. Not to mention the size of the suite is very large compared to the hotels around Seoul. The staff are also so professional and attentive. Location wise, it's conveniently located central to the landmarks and Myong Dong. Definitely will return! "

"We had such great experiences to stay at this hotel. All staffs were very helpful to answer our questions & fulfill our reasonable requests. I have two constructive suggestions: #1. Expand the laundry room with more washing machines & dryers. #2. Enhance the front desk staffs’ knowledge on hotel tax refund. The hotel will need to provide the tax refund form to get the refund at the airport. However, the staffs only mentioned that the airport staff would have helped without providing me the the hotel stay tax refund form. I failed to get the tax refund at the airport because of this ><."
