"My usual hotel appeared to have been fully booked so I decided to give the IJsselhotel, sorry the Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel Aan De IJssel a try. The location is amazing, right across from the town on the river. To get to the other side there is a small ferry throughout the day. My room was amazing. "This hotel property is best described as "Past Due"...very past due. The rooms are very small with very old and very tired beds. Two beds means two very tiny one person (small person) bed with a memory matrass that long lost his memory with a paper thing blanket. One tiny towel but that wasn't a problem as the shower was to small to shower a adult person anyway. The included breakfast was (probably due to staffing problems) not worthy to be mentioned a breakfast. At 9 am there wasn't a lot left...

"There is nothing not to like about Hotel de Zwaan en it's restaurant. Both the hotel and the restaurant staff are very friendly. The restaurant has a unique menu and I enjoyed my veal dish thoroughly. The breakfast was excellent. My room was large and quiet. The bed comfortable. Nice shower."

"The hotel is a bit outdated, with a loose wall outlet and is was quite noisy. The restaurant on the other hand was very good with an exceptional breakfast, and a friendly and service oriented staff. "

"What a great hotel. Large car park. Lovelly staff. The room was very big the bathroom excellent with bath and shower. The bed was brilliant as were the pillows. Wi Fi was great. The lift was very useful."

"Short walk to the local shops. Lots of parking spaces never s struggle to get a space. Tehre was a wheelchair ramp up to the hotel reception. A 10 pin bowling alley shares the car park. It had a secure bicycle lock dedicated building, accessible with your room key card."

"From our balcony (Room 22 on third floor) we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Vecht. A spacious room although there are some features that could do with maintenance (eg timber floor on balcony) and provision of more shelving."
